The Henry Singer flagship launch

As Marketing and Design Manager for Henry Singer Fashion Group, Western Canada's premier luxury menswear house since 1938, I led the creative and marketing rollout of the new 6,000 sq ft Calgary flagship in 2017. Every printed invitation, every campaign asset and the launch event itself, alongside partners including Giorgio Armani, Kiton, Eleventy and McLaren. My job was to tell those houses' stories to a very affluent clientele, and every invitation, display and campaign had to hold its own beside a Kiton suit.

I also produced in-store evenings pairing McLaren and Bentley with Giorgio Armani, Kiton, Isaia, Canali and Eton: high-performance machines presented beside fine tailoring for an affluent clientele. Engineering excellence, presented as luxury.

With the Edmonton Oilers, I created Suit Up an Oiler: I designed the campaign creative and directed the video shoot with the Oilers' young star Nail Yakupov. I also oversaw a collaboration between Henry Singer, the Italian luxury house Eleventy and Connor McDavid.

While the new 8th Avenue Place flagship was under construction, I designed the vinyl window wrap campaign and saw it through print and installation, along the street frontage and inside the atrium.

An invitation made from the store itself. The backdrop is the custom wood flooring imported for the new flagship, so guests saw the space before they walked in. It went to our top clients in Calgary and Edmonton, the Mayor of Calgary and celebrity guests, with partners including Hennessy, Glenmorangie, Eton and Bentley Calgary.

From arena to DAZN & TSN

I've worked with United Boxing Promotions since 2011, first as their freelance designer and, since 2022, as Head of Design and Production. I'm responsible for every design touchpoint, from the decks that win over sponsors and broadcasters to the in-arena experience for fans: posters, tickets, credentials, programs and arena signage.

That work helped carry the promotion from local arena shows to a partnership with Great Canadian, then DAZN and TSN. It is now the number 1 promotion in English Canada.

I also led the creative for its launch into a new market at the all-new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, where our first two shows sold out back to back in September 2025 and April 2026.

One campaign, every format. Each card starts as a key poster, then becomes the social set, arena screens, tickets, credentials and sponsor placements, so the night looks like one brand from the first post to the ring walk.

From third in Quebec to first in Canada

In 2012 Eye of the Tiger Management was the third promoter in Quebec. I designed every one of their fight posters as a freelancer, and by 2019 they were the biggest promoter in Canada. In December 2021 they brought me on as Creative Director to lead a full rebrand, and I built the decks they used to pitch partners, which helped land a groundbreaking ESPN deal in the United States.

How I work

The keyboard and the boardroom.

Most designers are strong in one place or the other. I build the deck myself, and then I stand up and present it.

Behind the screen

Hands on the files

  • Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, proficient in After Effects.
  • PowerPoint and PDF decks built to brand guidelines, ready to send or present.
  • Prepress and print production, from dielines to large format and offset colour.
  • Photo and video direction, from shoot planning to the final edit.
In the room

Front of the room

  • Present concepts to executives, decision makers and sales teams, and take the feedback on the spot.
  • Pitched in person to City of Montréal officials, architects and management.
  • Host press conferences and weigh-ins, and call fights live on broadcast.
  • Bilingual English and French, so I can work with teams and material in both languages.

You don't have to manage me.
I manage the work.

Why Jason

What actually sets me apart.

Most designers can make things look good. Fewer can make them work: in a sales meeting, at the printer and in front of a live audience.

25 years of real projects

Commercial work across luxury retail, publishing, sports and events. Chances are I've seen your problem before and know what works.

Easy to work with

Outgoing, direct and genuinely excited by a new brief. I'm as happy leading a team as taking direction from a lead and running with it.

Built inside strict guidelines

Seven years meeting Disney, Hasbro and Marvel standards, and five matching the world's top luxury houses. Premium, on brand, every time.

Deadline-proof

Fight nights and launch parties don't move. I've spent two decades hitting fixed dates with printers, editors and vendors in tow.

What I do

One call. End to end.

From the first concept to the press-ready file. I do the work, or I lead the team that does.

About

The designer who ships.

I'm Jason Toufexis, a bilingual senior designer with 25 years across luxury retail, publishing, sports and events. I've been Art Director at Phidal Publishing, Marketing and Design Manager at Henry Singer Fashion Group, Creative Director at Eye of the Tiger, and today I'm Head of Design and Production at United Boxing Promotions.

I understand design at a commercial level: hierarchy, visual weight, and how a piece works in the hands of a buyer. I also have an entrepreneur's instincts. I built Red Corner Apparel as a partner and have run my own freelance practice since 2004.

I trained in Illustration and Design at Dawson College and in Management at Concordia, and my roots are in Montréal. Away from the screen, I host press conferences and weigh-ins and call fights as a broadcast commentator, so a microphone and a full room feel like home.
